The camp was built by my grandparents Edward and Margaret Gawley in 1951. They originally had a small general store in Perrault Falls but later went on to cut the road into camp. They started out with only a few cabins and some outhouses, paving the way for Gawleys Parkview Camp. After slowly adding cabin by cabin, my parents, Ray and Shari Gawley put the updated ammenities into camp like flushing toilets and electric stoves. Over the last 10 years we have worked hard to update all of our cabins. We have been starting to put fresh pine in all of them so that you really get that cozy, woodsy feel. We plan on having all of our cabins with the updated pine look over the next few years.
I was born and raised on Wabaskang Lake, fishing, hunting and camping all my childhood life. It was always my ambitions to one day be the 3rd generation to operate Gawleys Parkview Camp. Now my wife Afton, two girls Everly and Aislynn and our dog Chester are happy to be your hosts for many years to come.
